According to a request made by the Minister of Labor and Foreign Employment, Manusha Nanayakkara from Japan, professional job opportunities for cleaning buildings in Japan have been opened for Sri Lankan workers.

According to Minister Manusha Nanayakkara, the tests to select those workers will start in June this year.

This has been revealed in a discussion between the Minister and the Japan Building Cleaners Association held yesterday (28) at the Ministry of Labor and Foreign Employment.

It is further stated that those who have obtained Japanese language proficiency at the N4 level are eligible for this under the SSW category and have passed two parts of the qualification verification test.
