Due to the rain that has affected the island, a landslide warning has been issued for 07 districts.
The National Building Research Organization stated that the warning has been given to several areas in the districts of Galle, Hambantota, Kandy, Kegalle, Matara, Nuwara Eliya and Ratnapura.
The National Building Research Organization further stated that the people living in areas prone to landslides should take into account the prevailing weather conditions and be vigilant.
