According to the Department of Population and Statistics, inflation rose to 66.7% in July.
The department states that inflation has increased due to the monthly increases in the prices of items in both food and non-food categories.
The Department of Population and Statistics further stated that the annual point inflation in the food category rose to 82.5% in July and the inflation in the non-food category rose to 52.4% in July.
