It has become a common disease in the society that many people know just by hearing the name cold. There are people who get colds every now and then and people who get them all the time. Both the main and side effects of catching a cold vary from person to person. Even their response to that is different.

Causes of frequent colds

1). Environmental factors in which the person lives

2). The food he/she eats

3). dust

4). Because of the bed sheets, pillows, mattresses, etc. he/she uses

Ayurvedic reference to Cold

Ayurveda has advised that cold food and drinks should not be taken by patients with stomatitis. Ice creams and cold drinks are not suitable even in rainy and cold weather conditions. Also, some people can be allergic to chicken and eggs. Eating too much sweet food is also not good. Also, eating too much oily food increases the risk of sepsis as well as obesity. For small children, eating foods like milk, eggs, pineapple, squid, and shrimp can cause allergies.

Continuous use of electric fans throughout the night is also not advisable. Due to its mixing with dust and wind, it brings bad health results. Difficulty breathing.

Cold wind can also be the main cause of a cold.

Regardless of the condition of phlegm, Rhinitis, asthma , it is advisable to be protected from the things mentioned above.

And you can follow the instructions given below.

If you have a cold, do not sneeze unsafely near another person. Otherwise, there is a greater tendency to spread the sneeze droplets to the surrounding people and spread the disease. Hence the need to wear a face mask. It is advisable for a cold patient to avoid going among people without such a mouth cover.

Hand hygiene is very important. Always keep your hands clean as your nose touches your mouth.

Avoid other people using things that a patient uses personally. Separate them for patient use.

As the body’s immunity slowly decreases, it is inevitable to fall victim to the disease day by day. Therefore, if you are a frequent victim of colds, it is advisable to identify the relevant factor that affects it and avoid exposure to it.
