Gota GoHome is implementing a number of programs to mark the 50th day of the protest. By the 28th of this month, the protest will complete 50 days of peaceful protest. The protest was critisized as it would not even last more than 2 days. The protestors made all the aligations and rumours fail by maintaining the silent protest, touching a milestone of 50 days.
A massive rally is scheduled to begin on the 28th at 2 pm from Kollupitiya, sending several messages to the American, Indian, and Presidential Secretariats. According to another source, another rally has been organized by the artists in order to support the portestors too.
However, sources say that the message will be only handed over to the President and not any delegates will recieve it. and the protesters will reportedly make every effort to go to the Presidential Palace.
