At yesterday’s meeting, Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said that approval had been given to all private bunker refineries to import diesel and fuel oil for their industries and supply them to operate their own generators and other essential machinery. He has sated this by tweeting a tweet on his social media account.
He added that this would further ease the bulk supply through CPC and other filling stations.
