Electricity and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera says that many government institutions in Sri Lanka should be reorganized.
The minister points out that many government institutions have fallen due to wrong political decisions, political appointments, misadministration and incompetence.
The minister also said that he does not expect many employees working in the public sector to work in the private sector or be recruited to work in the private sector.
In a Twitter post, the minister emphasized that a performance-based salary system should be established in government institutions as well.
