Kahathuduwa Police have apprehended a suspect involved in the theft of motorcycles from several areas.According to police, the suspect had stolen three motorcycles, worth more than Rs. 1 million, from Kahathuduwa, Mirigama, and Katunayake areas.Additionally, three stolen mobile phones have also been found in the suspect’s possession.During interrogations, the suspect had disclosed that he had pawned the stolen motorcycles for a total of Rs.150,000 at two locations in Andiambalama area. The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) states that there will be no revision of electricity tariffs for 2024, citing delays in the submission of necessary proposals by the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB).
