The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will continue its financial and technical assistance to Sri Lanka without interruption, stated Senior Vice President of JICA, HARA Shohei, the President’s Media Division (PMD) reported. The Cabinet of Ministers has approved granting compensation to 17 patients who had developed complications after undergoing cataract surgery at the Nuwara Eliya District Hospital.
