Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera has said in a Twitter post that the QR fuel pass system has been successfully tested at 02 selected petrol stations in Colombo district.Accordingly, from today (23), the Minister further says that he hopes to try this QR system at selected fuel stations in 25 districts covering the entire island.Below is the list of fillings that will try the QR method from today.

A satyagraha is currently being held at the place in protest of the attack on the Galleface struggle ground.It is reported that people are gathering at that place for this purpose.

A ship carrying 3700 metric tons of gas has now reached Colombo and is undergoing gas inspection, Litro Gas Company’s media spokesperson V. Mr. Keteswaram said today (22).Mr. Keteswaram said that the unloading of vehicles will start as soon as the inspection work is completed and he also mentioned that seven gas stocks are to be reached within this month.

Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera says that another stock of petrol and heavy fuel arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday (21).The minister said that after checking its condition, the unloading of fuel will begin.This crude oil is to be used for power generation and distribution to industries, further stated in the Twitter message issued by the minister.
