Ranjith Maddumabandara, the general secretary of Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), stated yesterday that the SJB has not planned any protests on August 9.Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka, an SJB MP, urged the public last week to prepare ready for a huge demonstration to overthrow this administration on August 9. “Sarath told me that he had told about a protest on August 9 to the public.
