The Supreme Court today ordered the adjournment of two petitions filed against the Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Mr Mahinda Siriwardena for contempt of court on May 22nd.The petitions were called today before a five-member bench led by Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya.The Attorney General presented the facts before the court and requested for time to file the documents related to this case.The petitions were filed by Ranjith Maddumabandara, General Secretary of Samagi Jana Balavega and Wijitha Herath, Member of Parliament of Jatiya Jana Balavega.
