Saif Al Adel has been appointed as the new leader of the Al Qaeda terrorist organization. Saif Al Adel served as a member of the Special Task Force of the Egyptian Army.

Osama Bin Laden was the pioneer to establish Al Qaeda terrorist organization. On September 11, 2001, Al Qaeda terrorists attacked the United States using passenger planes on Bin Laden’s instructions.

American forces and intelligence agencies killed Osama Bin Laden who was living in Pakistan in 2011. Then, bin Laden’s second-in-command, Aimaw al-Zawahiri, became the leader of al-Qaeda.

Last year in 2022, Al Zawahiri was killed by the US military in a drone missile attack while at home in Kabul, Afghanistan. Al Qaeda has never admitted that al-Zawahiri was killed by an American attack.

However, Al Qaeda’s appointment of Saif Al Adel as its new leader confirmed Al Zawahiri’s death. Saif Al Adel was a front-line member of Al Qaeda. It has also been said that the United States will offer a bounty of 10 million American dollars on his head. (Reuters)
