Minister of State for Technology Kanaka Herath says that the introduction of the new system for issuing motor vehicle revenue licenses (eRL 2.0) in Sri Lanka will be implemented from the 7th of this month. The State Minister stated that this program is implemented in all the provinces except the Western Province.
With this new system, motor vehicle revenue licenses (eRL 2.0) can be obtained from home and it is stated that the State Ministry of Technology and Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) of Sri Lanka are jointly implementing this program. State Minister Kanaka Herath further stated that this program will be implemented to cover all the other 8 provinces except the Western Province.
