The World Health Organization says that essential medical supplies worth 04 million US dollars will be provided to meet the urgent health needs of the Sri Lankan people.
The Director General of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus, has mentioned this in a congratulatory message to the President.
It also stated that the procurement activities regarding essential medical supplies to Sri Lanka have already started and the distribution dates and lists will be announced by the Sri Lanka office of the World Health Organization.
