Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe, the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, has organized a workshop to inform all members of Parliament on the topic “Current economic situation and way forward in Sri Lanka”.
Accordingly, it is stated that the Acting Secretary General of the Parliament, Kashan Rohanadeera, has informed all the Members of Parliament to participate in this program.
Organized as per the instructions of Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, this conversational talk is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm at the Committee Room No. 1 of the Parliament.
This workshop has been organized for effective discussion on the current economic situation and future economic direction of the country so that it will be useful for the members of parliament to actively participate in the upcoming parliamentary debates on financial matters.
