Minister of State for Tourism Diana Gamage says that in order to get money from tourists coming to the country, opportunities must be created.
She points out that although many tourists come to the country for entertainment if Colombo is like a graveyard after 10 pm, even if they have money to spend, there are no places in the country to spend it.
Therefore, she points out that in order to attract tourists who come to Sri Lanka for entertainment, Night Life or night economies must be created in Sri Lanka.
Apart from that, the minister further states that tourism opportunities based on agriculture, education, and sports should also be created.
