A notification has been made regarding the amount of fuel to be provided until the implementation of the QR fuel permit system in the coming week.
Accordingly, it has been decided to release fuel only under a maximum of 1,500 rupees for a motorcycle, a maximum of 2,000 rupees for a three-wheeler, and a maximum of 7,000 rupees for other vehicles.
It is further stated that this decision was taken during a discussion held yesterday (19).
Meanwhile, the minister mentioned that the QR fuel permit system will be implemented from the 21st to the 24th in several places in Colombo on a trial basis, and will be implemented throughout the island from the 25th.
