Tourism and Lands Minister Mr Harin Fernando said that when governments or politicians change, a tourism policy that does not change will be presented immediately.
The minister mentioned that the policy, which was prepared after extensive study by the experts in the field, has now been forwarded to the cabinet and that it will be presented to the country within the next two weeks.
The Minister of Tourism and Lands Mr Harin Fernando expressed these views while attending the news conference held at the Presidential Media Center yesterday (14) under the theme ‘One way to a stable country’.
Mr Harin Fernando said that the politicians who have ruled the country for the past 75 years are responsible for the situation that the country is in today, but he mentioned that an individual is currently implementing the necessary policies to move the country forward.
