An Extraordinary Gazette Notification has been issued increasing the Value Added Tax (8% to 12%) with effect from 1st June.
The Prime Minister’s Office announced yesterday that tax reforms need to be accelerated to increase revenue in 2022 and beyond and to achieve strong fiscal consolidation.
