A decision to use the Election Expenses Regulation Act in this presidential election

The Election Commission has declared that the Regulation of Election Expenses Act will be used for the upcoming presidential election.

Accordingly, Election Commissioner General Saman Sri Ratnayake stated that this Act will be applied to every election except for a referendum.
