Yoshitha Rajapaksa, son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, has appeared before the Court of Appeal today (16).
He had appeared before the court to participate in the hearing of a petition seeking a ruling that the charge of “conspiracy” in the case filed against him by the Attorney General under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act cannot be maintained.
The petition is scheduled to be heard today before a Court of Appeal bench comprising Justices Amal Ranaraja and Dr. Sumudu Premachandra, Buzzer News reporter said.
