American scientists say that the speed of the earth’s rotation or the speed of its rotation will increase, and the time on the earth will decrease by one second. Scientists also point out that this will happen because of an unintended consequence of global warming. Global warming is increasing day by day due to human activities.

As global warming increases, the melting of the polar ice caps accelerates. It affects the Earth’s core. The speed of the earth’s rotation increases. Accordingly, at some future date, horologists will have to reduce the time on Earth’s clocks by one second. It is special that this has not happened before in the history of the world.

The change of time in a second may seem like a small thing, but since we live in a digital age connected with computers, the reduction of time will undoubtedly affect computers and us who use them. Information about this time difference was revealed to the world by Duncan Agnew, a geophysicist at the University of California, San Diego, USA.

Agnew and his research team have published articles in many scientific journals elucidating this. Scientist Duncan Agnew has further explained that this second decrease will not happen today but from 2029. According to scientists, a day is 86164.09 seconds. Scientists who measure time are constantly on the lookout for this. Over the past few years, this 86164.09 milliseconds has occasionally been reduced by as little as 0.05 milliseconds.

It was confirmed that this was due to the increased speed of the Earth’s rotation, and Duncan Agnew and his research team began to investigate further. That’s how Agnew and the team managed to discover that by the year 2029, time will decrease by one second. (CNN)
