The Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs Dinesh Gunawardena states that steps will be taken to grant leave to public servants on Friday in view of the current fuel crisis.

The Minister said that due to the increase in fuel prices, public servants have to incur additional expenses on their way to and from work.

Accordingly, he received training to work from home during the Kovid period and will be given leave on Friday to follow suit.
