The Colombo Magistrate’s Court has today (19) ordered the release of former state minister Vijayakala Maheswaran, who was released on bail, on the advice of the Attorney General.
In 2018, former state minister Vijayakala Maheswaran was accused of making a statement that the LTTE should be re-established and had previously been granted bail.
Earlier, the police informed the court that the Attorney General had advised that there were not enough facts to proceed with the case against this suspect.
