Veteran actor Suminda Sirisena has passed away. He was 75 years old when he died. Suminda Sirisena was an eminent artist who entered teledrama from the stage and from teledrama to cinema.
Mr Sirisena, who started acting on the stage, has contributed to many stageplays like Maname, Sinbahahu, Mahasaara etc. and Duhul Malak, Saptha Kanya, the Samanala Thathu are some of the films coloured by his acting.
Due to his acting talent, he managed to win the best actor and best supporting actor award on many occasions.
