United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Undersecretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Alexis Taylor and President Ranil Wickremesinghe met the day before yesterday (26) in the afternoon at the President’s Office.
President Ranil Wickramasinghe mentioned that implementing a program to modernize milk production in Sri Lanka with the support of the United States of America will further encourage the ongoing milk production promotion projects throughout the island.
President Ranil Wickramasinghe informed Alexis Taylor about the government’s agricultural modernization program and said that one of its main objectives is to attract the youth to the agricultural sector in this country.
