Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister Emine Dzhaparova arrived in India’s capital New Delhi for a four-day official visit. The purpose of the Deputy Foreign Minister’s visit is to seek the support of the Indian government to the Ukrainian government regarding Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine.
India is following a policy of neutrality in the Russian-Ukraine crisis. India has worked to keep Russia and Ukraine as friends. However, India’s position is that the war must be stopped and a political solution sought.
Indian news services have reported that the deputy foreign minister of Ukraine is scheduled to meet several ministers of the Indian government during this visit. (Reuters)
