Foreign Affairs Minister Ali Sabri says that the new proposal brought to the United Nations Human Rights Commission regarding Sri Lanka is completely rejected.
Accordingly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs stated that he would object to the inclusion of Sri Lanka’s domestic economy and fiscal policy measures, which are not subject to the restrictions of the Human Rights Council, in the proposal.
Foreign Affairs Minister Ali Sabri further stated that commenting on the economic and financial crisis that many countries in the world are facing today is not a matter related to the mechanism or expertise of this panel.
