Today (29) in Sabaragamuwa Province and Galle and Matara Districts, rain or thunder may occur in a few places in the evening or at night, says the Department of Meteorology.
The department stated that there is mainly rainless weather on the rest of the island.
The Department of Meteorology urges individuals to take the required precautions to reduce the risks brought on by storm-related lightning and transient high winds.
