The Department of Meteorology says that several rainy seasons may occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
The department stated that there is a possibility of rain or thundershowers in a few places in the Uva province, Ampara and Hambantota districts in the evening or at night.
The Department of Meteorology requests that people take necessary measures to minimize the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
