Western, Sabaragamuwa, Uva, North Central and North Western provinces and Mannuwara, Nuwara Eliya, Mannar, Galle and Matara districts will experience scattered showers or thunderstorms during the evening or night. The Department of Meteorology announces that there may be heavy rains of more than 50 mm in some places.
The announcement further states that there may be some rain in the Eastern Province as well.
