The Department of Meteorology says that there may be some rain in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Galle and Matara districts today (23).
The department states that rain or thundershowers may occur in a few places in the Uva province and Ampara and Batticaloa districts during the evening or at night.
The department requests the people to take necessary measures to minimize the dangers that may arise from temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
