The Department of Meteorology announces that there may be rain or thundershowers in Uva, Central, South, Sabaragamuwa, Western, North-West and North-Central provinces and in Mannar district during the evening or at night.
The announcement further stated that heavy rains of more than 50 mm may occur in some places and rains may occur in Batticaloa, Ampara and Monaragala districts in the morning.
