The Department of Meteorology says that some rain may occur in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle, and Matara districts.
The department states that there is mainly rainless weather on the rest of the island.
From Puttalam through Colombo and Galle to Matara, there may be rain at a few places in the offshore areas.
