Cypetco filling stations will start issuing fuel island wide from today (21) with restrictions based on the last digit of the vehicle’s registration number.
Accordingly, fuel is scheduled to be released for vehicles with the last digits 3, 4, and 5 today.
The Ministry of Energy stated that while issuing fuel, fuel will be given subject to a maximum of 1500 rupees for motorcycles, 2000 rupees for three-wheelers and 7000 rupees for other vehicles.
Meanwhile, as a pilot project, fuel will be provided according to the QR fuel permit from today (21) at several selected petrol stations in Colombo district.
