The 2022 Nobel Prize for Literature was awarded to a French author, Annie Ernaux.

That is by evaluating the works she wrote about life, class division and gender, very simply, based on her personal experiences.

82-year-old Annie Ernaux said in a press conference that it was an honour for her to receive the Nobel Prize for Literature.

Annie Ernaux authored more than 20 books. Many of them have even been included in French school textbooks.
