The report of the three-member investigation committee appointed in accordance with the request of former minister Nimal Siripala de Silva to conduct an impartial investigation into the reports of bribery has been handed over to President’s Secretary Saman Ekanayake today (31).
Former minister Nimal Siripala de Silva was accused of asking for a bribe from the Thaise company in Japan.
The President’s Media Division stated that the chairperson of the investigation committee, retired High Court Judge, President’s Advocate Kusala Sarojani Weerawardena handed over the committee’s report to the President’s Secretary.
