The National Dengue Control Unit says that dengue high-risk zones have increased to 44.
The highest number of patients are reported from the Western Province and 44 people have died due to dengue, said its director Dr. Nalin Ariyaratne.
He further mentioned that a special anti-dengue week will be implemented from next Monday to control the spread of dengue.
