The orders on the preliminary objection submitted by the defence in the case against the former minister MP Wimal Weerawansa on the charge of owning nearly 75 million rupees in money and property that could not be earned from his salary and income during his five years as a minister will be issued on February 28. Colombo High Court Judge Navaratne set the date yesterday (16th).
When the case was called, the accused Mr Wimal Weerawansa appeared before the court. (Divaina)
