Sergeant Narendra Fernando says that the public gallery of the Parliament will be opened from tomorrow (20).
The Sergeant-at-arms has submitted to the Committee on Parliamentary Affairs the need to relax the restrictions on visiting the Parliament due to the Covid situation and security reasons.
Accordingly, this will be implemented from tomorrow and it is stated that permission has been given to visit the Parliament from 09.30 am to 03.00 pm on non-session days.
School authorities can apply online through the website www.parliament.lk and send a fax message to 011 2 777 473 or 335, said the Department of Communications of the Parliament.
