Minister Kanchana Wijesekera says that a request has been made to allow discussion with the International Cricket Council regarding the Sri Lanka cricket ban.
Accordingly, the cabinet sub-committee appointed by the president made the relevant request, the minister said while joining the debate held in the parliament today (17).
It is further stated that President Ranil Wickremesinghe recently appointed the cabinet sub-committee under the chairmanship of Foreign Minister Ali Sabri and the sub-committee has also been authorized to discuss the International Cricket Council.
