The High Officials Committee of the Parliament has approved the appointment of Himali Subhasini de Silva Arunathilaka as the Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to the United Nations in Geneva.
Also, Parliament Secretary General Dhammika Dasanayake stated that approval was received for the appointment of Niroshani Manisha Dias Abeywickrama Gunasekera as the new Sri Lankan ambassador to France and the permanent representative of UNESCO.
The High Officials Committee of the Parliament has also approved the appointment of Lanka Waruni Muthukumarana as the new Sri Lankan Ambassador to Germany, Priyangika Wijegunasekara as the new Sri Lankan Ambassador to Jordan and Sajeeva Umanga Mendis as the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Vietnam.
