Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekara states that his focus will be on introducing a ration system to provide fuel to the transport and industrial sectors soon.
The Minister further states that necessary steps have been taken to inform all fuel consumers to register at the petrol station in their area.
The Minister said that the relevant associations have been instructed to appoint a representative of the private bus associations for each fuel depot to carry out the process of issuing diesel for private buses through the SLTB depots in a strong and orderly manner.
