Olympic medalist Susanthika Jayasinghe has been appointed by Sri Lanka Cricket as a consultant and development consultant to promote Sri Lanka women’s cricket.
This appointment will be effective from February 01.
Regarding this appointment, Susanthika Jayasinghe stated that she would accept the challenge with great pleasure.
“I am very happy to accept this challenge. I can be a strength for young athletes. I am trying to take up this challenge and make them future stars. I am really happy with this appointment.”
Susanthika Jayasinghe, the only woman to win an Olympic medal for Sri Lanka, has given great fame to Sri Lanka in other international competitions. (Divaina)
