The President has issued a gazette notice making electricity and fuel essential services. All the services related to the supply of electricity, the production of petroleum and all the services related to the supply or distribution of fuel have been made essential services by this gazette notification.
According to the order of the President, the President’s Secretary Mr. Saman Ekanayake has signed this gazette announcement.
