President Ranil Wickramasinghe says that the delay in the Sri Lankan university system at the beginning of studies will be avoided and students will be given the opportunity to complete their studies within the stipulated time.
The President mentioned this in a meeting held on the 22nd with the student leaders of the Royal College of Colombo at the President’s Office.
Here, the President asked the students about university education and the students informed the President that there is a big difference between the time it takes to get a degree in foreign higher education and the time it takes in a local university.
Accepting it, the President further stated that a formal remedy will be applied soon.
