Dallas Alahapperuma says that a compromise journey will begin today and pledges will be made for the struggle to build the lives of the people beyond Diwanna. He also points out that the decision taken by opposition leader Sajith Premadasa, who had decided to contest for the post of successor president, is a historic decision taken for the people of the country
Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa says that he made this decision by devoting himself to winning democratic rights for the people of this country, re-enforcing the nineteenth constitutional amendment and taking the country forward economically, socially and culturally.
