Colombo St. Joseph’s College won the championship by defeating Gateway School by 84-66 points in the final match of the under-16 “A” group school basketball tournament organized by the Sri Lanka School Basketball Federation and with the support of Rajagiriya Gateway School.
The final was held yesterday (29th) at the Rajagiriya Gateway School basketball court, where Darren Bernard (St. Joseph) was named the most valuable player of the tournament, Bilal Safraz (Gateway) was the best offensive player and Aaron Gerald (St. Joseph) as the best defensive player.
