The Sri Lankan team managed to win by 21 runs in the match between Sri Lanka and the Netherlands in the super six round of the ICC World Cricket Cup qualification tournament.

After winning the toss of the match, the Sri Lankan team decided to bat first and at the end of 48 overs, they managed to score only 213 runs. Dhananjaya de Silva, who played a valuable innings for the Sri Lankan team, scored 93 runs from 111 balls and his innings included 2 sixes and 8 fours. In addition, Dimuth Karunaratne scored 33 runs, Maheesh Theekshana scored 28 runs and Wanindu Hasaranga scored 20 runs.

In bowling, Logan van Beek and Bas de Leede took 3 wickets each. Apart from this, Saqib Zulfiqar managed to take 2 wickets. The Dutch team, who played the reply innings, managed to score only 192 runs after 40 overs.

Captain Scott Edwards, who played a solitary inning till the end, scored 67 runs without getting out. Maheesh Theekshana took 3 wickets, Wanindu Hasaranga took 2 wickets, and Dilshan Madushanka and Lahiru Kumara took 1 wicket for Sri Lanka.
